While you may see firewood under our lean to or along the fenceline, this wood is not seasoned or suitable for fire building. You may select a few pieces to your already lit fire to keep it going.
Firewood is available for purchase across from the Dollar General on Highway 52, before you turn onto Big Creek Road.
We have an abundance of deadfall in our private forest and you are welcome to collect any kindling that is on the ground to start your fire.
Please, no cutting, sawing or damaging of any trees, limbs or bamboo stalks. We ask you to respect our cherished forest.
